Help advise hospitals on their support for smokers

This consultation is CLOSED

Close date: 30th June 2022

Overview

The ‘QUIT Programme’ provides treatment and support for smokers in hospital. Researchers at the University of Sheffield are looking to see if the support to quit smoking works.

What will I be asked to do?
You will join a public group and come to 3 online meetings. We will tell you about the research and ask for your advice. You don’t need any other experience. You won’t be taking part in the research itself but will be helping us make sure we talk to patients in the right way, and clearly tell people about what we have found.

How much time is needed?
Each meeting will be an hour and a half. We are expecting the first online meeting will take place in June.
Will I be paid?
We will pay you £25 per hour.
