NHS STAFF THANKED FOR THEIR LONG SERVICE

Date:

With over 1000 years of NHS service between them, Huddersfield and Calderdale staff from the South West Yorkshire Mental Health NHS Trust have been congratulated on their long service at a special event.

At a ceremony held at the Calderdale Royal Hospital, Halifax, over 40 members of staff received certificates and gifts in recognition of their hard work over the years.

Staff from a wide variety of services, both clinical and administration, were presented with a gift and certificate by Judith Young, chief executive and Sukhdev Sharma, chairman.

Sukhdev said, ‘We were delighted to be able to thank these groups of staff personally for their hard work and commitment. The NHS, and our Trust, is founded on the dedication and achievements of staff and we are extremely proud of all of them’.

Judith added, ‘ I was really pleased to have the opportunity to meet these members of staff from our Trust. It is the likes of these dedicated professionals that ensure people who use our mental health and learning disability services receive the best possible care available.’
