New hubs, new numbers

A number of our services around the Wakefield district have now moved into two new health and wellbeing hubs.  Contact numbers have also changed.

In the Pontefract area, our Day Treatment Services, Community Mental Health Teams 2 and 4, Core Team East (Core Pathway), Enhanced Team East (Enhanced Pathway), Adult Psychological Therapy and Assertive Outreach Teams are now in the Baghill House hub.  The new contact number for the centre is 01977 735819.

In the Wakefield area the city centre Drury Lane Health and Wellbeing Centre is now home to Adult Community Services, Core Team West (Core Pathway) , CAMHS, Enhanced Team West (Enhanced Pathway), Wakefield & 5 Towns Recovery College, Early Intervention Team (Enhanced Pathway), Single Point of Access (Core Pathway), Nurse Consultant Dual Diagnosis, Medical records, Rapid Access Service, CMHT West, Memory Service, Admiral Nurse Service and Psychology Services. The new state of the art centres provide a central point for local people to access services in a convenient and comfortable environment. They are part of a £20m investment in the Wakefield district that will help deliver effective services close to where people live and want to access healthcare. This also includes a major redevelopment of acute adult mental health wards at Fieldhead hospital.
