Kids get creative at Kendray

Creative young people from Barnsley Academy have helped to transform our Kendray Hospital site with their artwork.

The pupils’ paintings were created as part of the Kudos Project, an initiative run by local housing provider Berneslai Homes and the local policing team.

The artwork, which is now on display in the Kendray canteen, was handed over at a special ceremony attended by our staff, students and teachers from Barnsley Academy, Berneslai Homes and the policing team in early November.

The students’ work on the project was also recognised at the Barnsley Children’s Trust executive group as an example of providing different opportunities to young people.
