Learning disabilities physiotherapy service (Adult)

The Physiotherapy Team consists of specialist Physiotherapists and technical instructors who will help individuals to manage the physical health problems associated with movement and posture that accompany having a learning disability. The Physiotherapy Service will provide assessment, advice, treatment and management of service users and their carers in a community setting. This directly includes the management of service users with long term conditions where gradual progressive deterioration occurs. Our main goal is to enable individuals to take their place as a valued member of society within their communities.
