Working alongside Action Space Mobile this project invites people to attend 20 sessions that explore how music and movement can help people in their recovery and boost their mental wellbeing.
Sessions include breath work, movement, confidence building games, relaxation techniques, individual reflection and group work.
Each session is adapted to meet the needs of individuals attending and are delivered in a person-centred way that has been informed by participants and supporting professionals.
The project aims to support service users develop their own self-care strategies through active creativity, explore relaxation and rejuvenation and be encouraged to express themselves, make new friends and build confidence and wellbeing through participation. Developing new skills and confidence to support and sustain their own mental health and wellbeing.
