Public meeting to be held on NHS service improvement proposals

Date:

Members of the public are invited to a meeting to discuss the future of mental health services in South West Yorkshire.

The South West Yorkshire Mental Health NHS Trust is holding a public meeting on Thursday 6th October, 7pm in the chapel at St Luke’s Hospital, Crosland Moor, Huddersfield.

The meeting is being held before the Trust launches a public consultation on proposed service improvements and is a chance for people to hear about the proposals.

Steven Michael, deputy chief executive, wants anybody with an interest to attend, ‘It’s a great opportunity for members of the public to come along and find out about the proposals that are being made to improve services’ he said. ‘We are going to be holding a formal public consultation but this meeting is an early opportunity to find out about the proposed changes and ask any questions. Everyone is very welcome to attend’.
