Y’Abba, D’Abba Doo!

To celebrate Christmas, people from the Horizon Centre including staff, service users, their carers and visitors enjoyed an Abba themed disco at the Martin Frobisher Library in Normanton. The party was attended by nearly 200 people and was supported by staff from the community learning disability teams in Normanton.

Party-goers dressed up in Abba-style costumes, tucked into a buffet tea, entered a raffle and enjoyed Abba inspired entertainment including an Abba medley and a disco. There was also a special Christmas medley which everyone sang along to. Prizes were awarded for the best dancers and the best costumes and everyone had a thoroughly enjoyable time.

The party was a huge success and definitely got people from the Horizon Centre into the Christmas spirit!
