Calling all Kate Moss’s or Brad Pitts- Are you ready for your close up!

Staff at the South West Yorkshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust are being asked to come forward for their chance to become the face of NHS jobs.

To celebrate the launch of the new-look NHS jobs website it is searching for 15 poster stars to help inspire people to join the NHS and give Naomi Campbell a run for her money.

The lucky 15 selected will see their face splashed across the website and in print publications from 2010, but all those shortlisted will get their taste of the supermodel lifestyle with a professional photo shoot and a copy of their picture to keep.

The competition is looking for people across the country, but the Trust’s staff throughout Calderdale, Kirklees and Wakefield are being encouraged to apply to do their bit to encourage others to join the team and make a difference.

It is hoped the images will help represent the diversity of the NHS in promotional material and boost recruitment.

HR recruitment manager Sandy Nicholas said, "It’d be great for staff to get involved in this national campaign. As well as being a chance to get a professional photo it is a good opportunity for our dedicated staff to get some national coverage and remind people of the important work we do in mental health and learning disability services."

NHS jobs currently advertises around 20,000 jobs each month so the winners may become well known by job applicants, with over 6 million web visits and applications from more than 250,000 jobseekers every month.

And who knows it might be the first photo shoot of many and the start of a new hobby!

NHS staff can find out more at www.jobs.nhs.uk/betheface Entries close on Friday 16 October 2009 and shortlisted candidates will be informed by the end of October.
