The sessions are free and will take place over four weeks between 6pm – 8pm at The Mend-A-Hose Jungle, Wheldon Road, Castleford, WF10 2SD.

Those attending will be given advice and tips on how to make positive changes towards their lifestyle including maintaining healthy mental and physical fitness, cook and eat sessions and man MOTs. Touch ruby games will also be on offer for those who want to take part.

David Cowan, health and wellbeing development worker at the Trust said, “We’d really encourage people to come along to the sessions and see how simple it is to make positive changes towards your health. We’ll be working alongside the Castleford Tigers who will be sharing their experiences of how important maintaining physical and mental health is.

“The sessions are informal and a place to come and chat with others who are interested in taking steps to improving their health. We’ll be giving out simple tips and information on a range of issues and advice on where people can go to for further help.”

If you’re interested in taking part email david.cowan@swyt.nhs.uk or steveball@castigers.com. You can also call Steve on 07707 927090.
