Make 11 March your day to quit smoking for good – that’s the message from Yorkshire Smokefree in the run up to No Smoking Day.

Yorkshire Smokefree, which is run by South West Yorkshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, offers smokers free support to help you quit, your way.

In support ofnational No Smoking Day expert advisors from Yorkshire Smokefree are visiting locations across the Wakefield area to encourage local people to pledge to quit on 11 March.

The team will be handing out information and advice on:

  • Monday 2 March at Sainsbury’s Trinity Walk, from 9am to 4pm
  • Wednesday 4 March at Pontefract bus station, from 9am to 1pm

Yorkshire Smokefree’s tailored support means that you can find a way of quitting that suits you. Expert advisors offer online support 24/7, are available on the phone seven days a week and offer face to face support at Yorkshire Smokefree Wakefield’s city centre quit shop.

Sandra Wilson, service manager at Yorkshire Smokefree Wakefield said, “No Smoking Day is the perfect opportunity for you to set a date to quit smoking. If you’ve been putting off quitting make 11 March your date to quit for good.
