Find out how creativity can help people get better

Date:

Arts and sport can sometimes be the best medicine.

That’s what our ground-breaking Creative Minds programme is all about. Whether it’s painting, writing, drama, sports, gardening or something else entirely, it’s amazing how these activities can help people get better. Creative activities have been shown to increase self-esteem, give people hope, provide a sense of purpose and develop social skills.

We’re holding a series of events in March for people to find out more about Creative Minds. If you’ve got an idea for a project, would like to find out more about which groups are available in your local area, or just want to know more about how Creative Minds works, come along and spend an evening with us.

You’ll get a chance to meet the member of the team who works in your area and to hear the experiences of people who have participated and benefitted from this work. We’ve supported a lot of people to set up their own creative groups and there will be information about this as well, including how to apply for funding.
