Launch of the Herbert Protocol

Date:

The Herbert Protocol is a national system for registering the details of vulnerable people with dementia so that, should they get lost or go missing, carers, emergency and support services are best able to find them and return them to safety. The Herbert Protocol was officially launched at the University of Huddersfield on Wednesday 22 June with a full partnership event, including the performance of a specially commissioned play. The event also featured a range of activities including Dementia Friends training, information sharing and promotion of services by partnership organisations, including our Trust.
