Bringing together experts in young people’s forensic services

This week we’re holding a leading-edge conference on harmful sexual behaviour (HSB) in children and young people.

Experts from a range of organisations, including Bernardos and University College London, will cover a wide range of issues. This will include HSB in girls and people with learning disabilities, as well as the most recent understanding and research on interventions.

Crucially, the conference will provide unique insight into the recently published NICE guidelines on HSB in young people. This will be presented by Dr Abdullah Kraam, a consultant child and adolescent forensic psychiatrist at the Trust who was also a key figure involved in writing the new guidelines.
