April is Stress Awareness Month and Kirklees IAPT are encouraging people in the area to contact them to discuss how they can help manage stress or see it in a different way.
The latest statistics show that as many as 1 in 6 experience stress and many do this in silence. There is no need to suffer in silence as we offer a variety of treatments that can help you.
We have our free 6-week stress control course that runs all through the year in both North and South Kirklees, in locations that are easily accessible. We run these during the day and in the evening so everyone can attend.
If after a discussion we think maybe the stress course is not the best option for you then we can offer other courses that may meet your need. We have courses that help with depression, anxiety, sleep, mindfulness, bereavement, confidence and self-esteem, and managing your emotions
We also have courses that will help if you have a long-term health condition- living well with long-term conditions, living well with diabetes, and living well with pain
