Stroke Association visit our Barnsley rehab unit

The Stroke Rehabilitation Unit at Kendray Hospital was delighted to welcome colleagues from the Stroke Association for a visit on Friday 4 May 2018.

Chris Larkin, Zone Director – North, was accompanied by his colleagues Rubeka Begum, Head of Stroke Support, and Samantha Jones, Stroke Association Support Manager, for an informative and productive meeting with Sean Rayner, Sue Wing and the clinical team.

Our guests were impressed by the fabulous facilities for rehabilitation and recovery provided by the Stroke Rehabilitation Unit and the warm welcome they received from the staff and patients.

Sue Wing , Deputy Director BDU said “We were very pleased to have the opportunity to show the excellent facilities we have that help our teams to deliver nationally recognised high standards of care”.
