World Mental Health Day: Support available for you

Date:

The World Health Organisation recognises World Mental Health Day on 10 October every year. This year’s theme set by the World Federation for Mental Health is ‘mental health for all’.

In a difficult and challenging year for many people, you may have found it harder to manage your mental health and wellbeing. Globally, one in four people live with a mental health condition. If you’ve found yourself struggling, World Mental Health Day is an ideal time for you to reach out to one of our services.

Recovery colleges

Our three recovery colleges in Barnsley, Calderdale and Kirklees, and Wakefield offer a range of courses and one-off workshops (both face to face and online) which all aim to improve wellbeing through learning.
