Information about our services during industrial action by junior doctors

Date:

Junior doctors will be taking part in industrial action on Tuesday 11, Wednesday 12, Thursday 13 and Friday 14 April 2023 for 96 hours.

The safety and care of people who use our services is our highest priority, and it is important that people continue to use our services when they need them.

Some appointments with our services on Tuesday 11, Wednesday 12, Thursday 13 and Friday 14 April 2023 will be rearranged. You will be contacted directly by your healthcare team if your appointment needs to be changed. If you have not been contacted, you should continue to attend your appointment as planned.

If you have any questions, please speak to your healthcare team.

Information about getting urgent support if you or somebody you know are experiencing a mental health crisis is available on our website here.

Please use NHS services wisely during industrial action. This will help make sure that care is available to those who need it the most. If you need help, you can still contact 999 in a life-threatening emergency and NHS 111 online for urgent care. Information is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week on the NHS website, and local pharmacies and GP practices are also available.
