Information about our services during industrial action in July

Junior doctors will be taking part in industrial action from 7am on Thursday 13 July to 7am on Tuesday 18 July 2023, for a total of five days. Consultants will also be taking part in strike action from 7am on Thursday 20 July to 7am on Saturday 22 July, for a total of two days.

The care and safety of people who use our services is our highest priority, and it is important that people continue to use our services when they need them.

Some appointments with our services between Thursday 13 July and Saturday 22 July 2023 will be rearranged. You will be contacted directly by your healthcare team if your appointment needs to be changed. If you have not been contacted, you should continue to attend your appointment as planned.

To help us continue giving high quality safe care to everyone, some of the usual activities our services provide may be limited during this time.

Please use NHS services wisely during industrial action. This will help make sure that care is available to those who need it the most. Information is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week on the NHS website, and local pharmacies and GP practices are also available.
