Celebrating Learning Disability Week: 16-22 June

Date:

Learning Disability Week takes place annually during the third week of June.

The theme this year is “Do you see me?” which is all about people with a learning disability being seen, heard and valued.

It is about challenging the barriers people with a learning disability face. We want to celebrate the things people with a learning disability bring to society.

Each day of the week has a different topic of focus:

  • Monday: Mythbusting
  • Tuesday: Giving Tuesday
  • Wednesday: Benefits
  • Thursday: Work
  • Friday: Health
  • Saturday: Inclusion
  • Sunday: Highlights
