Celebrating our estates and facilities colleagues

Wednesday 18 June is National Healthcare Estates and Facilities Day 2025, a day to celebrate the essential work of all estates and facilities in the delivery of health and social care to people across the UK.

It’s an opportunity to recognise the hard work, dedication and vital role of our estates and facilities colleagues within the Trust and to say thank you for everything you do!

From keeping our buildings running smoothly, to ensuring safe, clean, and welcoming environments for patients and staff — your hard work is essential to our organisation.

To say thank you to our colleagues, we held various celebration events across our sites including an estates and facilities department raffle drawn by Chair Marie Burnham at Fieldhead Hospital, a cake and treat celebration at Kendray Hospital and a pop in for a brew event at Cheswold Park Hospital.

Thank you to all our colleagues, partners and local organisations who donated and contributed prizes, gifts and treats to celebrate our estates and facilities colleagues at the Trust.
