Trust holds the Good Mood League Super Cup

On Thursday 12 June 2025, the Trust in partnership with Creative Minds and West Riding County Football Association, held our first ever Good Mood League Super Cup competition at Fleet Lane, home of WRCFA.
The third football event so far in 2025, this special one day six-a-side football tournament, an expansion of the Good Mood League, extended an open invite out to teams linked with mental health and wellbeing services across the West Yorkshire region.

Alex Feather, Creative Minds development manager said: “It was a great day with some great football played. The tournament was played in a competitive, but sporting manner, refereed by professionals who were very complimentary about the standards of play.”
The tournament was an opportunity to promote the Good Mood League and give a taster of the project to other organisations, partners and services, using football as a way to bring people together. The day was well attended, with health competition and fantastic skills on display in a fun and friendly environment.

Paul Crossland, Staff nurse added: “It’s great to see the Good Mood League going strong and expanding to include a cup event. A great day was had by all who participated, with players excited and eagerly awaiting the opportunity to play the next event.”
Congratulations to Reflections who were the winners on the day and well done to all our teams for the brilliant talent on display and playing in the right spirit.
Thank you to all our players, volunteers, partners and spectators for creating such a special atmosphere!
