Our services during industrial action by resident doctors in December
Resident doctors will be taking part in strike action from 7am on Wednesday 17 December to 7am on Monday 22 December.
The care and safety of people who use our services is our highest priority, and it is important that people continue to use our services when they need them.
To help us continue giving high quality safe care to everyone, some of the usual activities our services provide may be limited during this time.
Some appointments with our services may be rearranged. You will be contacted directly by your healthcare team if your appointment needs to be changed. If you have not been contacted, you should continue to attend your appointment as planned.
If you have any questions, please speak to your healthcare team.
Information about getting urgent support if you or somebody you know are experiencing a mental health crisis is available on our website here.
Please use NHS services wisely during industrial action. This will help make sure that care is available to those who need it the most. If you need help, you can still contact 999 in a life-threatening emergency and NHS 111 online for urgent care. Information is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week on the NHS website, and local pharmacies and GP practices are also available.
