Making Paths to better mental health support in Black Maternal Health Week

Date:

This week (11 – 17 April) is Black Maternal Health Week UK, and West Yorkshire maternal mental health service Paths areAn image of a pregnant woman holding her belly launching a year-long project.

Black women are not always getting the care and support they should and Paths wants your help to change this.

Over the next year, the service will be reaching out to Black women to better understand what matters to them and help them get the mental health and emotional support they deserve.

Paths want to create spaces where Black women:

  • Feel safe, listened to and understood
  • Have and know their choices
  • Can access the support they need

Stay connected

Paths will be sharing events, conversations, and ways to get involved throughout the year.
