Donate a gift and bring Christmas cheer to our patients
Our Trust charity, EyUp! is appealing for help from the community to support their Christmas gift appeal ‘The season of reyt goodwill’ to bring festive cheer to patients in our care.
Around 500 patients will be staying on our inpatient wards this festive season. For many, being away from home and loved ones on Christmas Day can feel especially isolating.
EyUp! charity wants to ensure every one of them wakes up to a thoughtful gift to open on Christmas morning.
For just £10, you can give a patient a gift to open on Christmas Day. Your support can help make Christmas feel extra special for those spending the festive season in our care – find out how on EyUp!’s website
You can also help by donating gifts suitable for people aged 18+, ranging from young adults to older people on our dementia wards. These can include toiletries, socks, chocolate and sweets.
Items that are sharp or have blades cannot be accepted. You don’t need to wrap your gift – just place it in a small box or gift bag with the intended age and gender of the gift labelled.
Gifts can be dropped off at convenient local supermarket collection points in
You can also pop into your local Dunelm stores in Barnsley, Wakefield, Huddersfield and Doncaster and select a tag from their ‘Delivering Joy’ Christmas tree to donate a present.
If you would prefer to donate online, you can contribute on Just Giving.
