Trust Values

Our vision is to provide outstanding physical, mental and social care in a modern health and care system. Our vision is to provide outstanding physical, mental and social care in a modern health and care system.

To achieve our mission we have a strong set of values:

  • We put people first and in the centre and know that families and carers matter
  • We’re respectful, honest, open and transparent

We constantly improve and aim to be outstanding so that we’re relevant today and ready for tomorrow.

Our 2018/19 strategic objectives were:

  • Improving health
  • Improving care
  • Improving resources

We improved health by joining up care and working with partners on big issues – taking the lead on key issues regionally such as suicide prevention and forensic CAMHS.

We improved care by improving safety, supporting staff, sharing learning and fostering a culture of improvement and action.

We improved resources by achieving our financial plan. We also delivered £10.6m savings – more than originally planned.

For 2019/20 we have added a fourth strategic objective that emphasises the importance of our staff: Making the Trust a great place to work.
