  • We are respectful, honest, open and transparent
  • We improve and aim to be outstanding
  • We are relevant today and ready for tomorrow

This is a fantastic opportunity to join an innovative NHS charity that delivers creative approaches in health in the realm of the arts, leisure, recreation, and physical activity.

We are recruiting creative practitioners to help develop and deliver a wide range of activities, which would enable service users and carers to develop interests, skills, confidence, and assist their wellbeing in a myriad of ways. The role will involve working with South West Yorkshire Partnership NHS Trust service users, carers, staff, and community groups and organisations in a co-productive way to further develop Creative Minds initiatives. This should involve working with our NHS wards and community services.

The post holder will need to have a range of skills and experience to deliver activities and a knowledge of community development. Some experience of working with people with mental health, learning disabilities, or long-term conditions and the services or initiatives they might use would be an advantage. They will have to have good interpersonal skills as partnerships and relationships building are key to this role.

We have 2 posts covering our NHS Trust; this one covers Calderdale and Kirklees. We expect the post to incorporate some agile working, and you would be expected to work with a certain degree of autonomy. We would welcome applications from people who have lived experience of mental health and/or long-term conditions.
