What’s it about?
It’s a small arts and crafts group run by an experienced volunteer, Jayne, at a friendly and welcoming village community centre. The group will be offered a wide variety of arts and crafts activities including celebratory and themed sessions. Beginners are welcome. The materials and room are supplied for free but participants will be asked to pay a contribution of £2 per session which covers the costs of refreshments. Kirkheaton Community Centre also offers a wide variety of other groups and activities and is run by volunteers.
Who’s it for?
People 18+ with moderate mental health issues who use Trust services or their carers. Suitable for people using IAPT, core team, perinatal mental health service, the older peoples CMHT. People can be accompanied by befrienders, friends or carers if they let us know in advance.
When?
Weekly 10am-12.30pm on Mondays from 24 September 2018 for a total of 38 weeks.

Kirkheaton Community Centre, Fields Rise, Kirkheaton, Huddersfield, HD5 0LZ.
