What’s it about?
This project continues the Curtain Up Players, a company for the over 50’s, drama work around dementia by building an Asian group of actors to take awareness of issues through drama into the Asian community.
The Curtain Up Players will continue to perform their existing plays about dementia as well as developing plays in new areas such as the visually impaired.
Who’s it for?
Community groups, care homes, luncheon clubs etc. People who have an interest in issues to do with ageing. We are available for new bookings.
When and where?
There are performances throughout 2018 at various locations in Kirklees. Rehearsals take place on Thursday mornings at the Brian Jackson Centre, New North Parade, Huddersfield, HD1 5JP. New actors are always welcome.
