Kirklees natural achievers

What’s it about?

Froglife provides community-based physical activities using the natural environment to provide training in a wide range of skills and to develop peer support and social opportunities.

The project forms part of the MENtal wellbeing programme and men are drawn from across all sectors to take part in a twelve week programme. Six weeks is spent on a group activity followed by a six week personal project ending with a celebration event. This is a rolling programme with a new group joining the programme every twelve weeks. Participants who have completed the full programme are invited to become mentors/volunteers to support beginners.

Who’s it for?

This project is for people with mental health problems.

Every Tuesday, 10am-4pm.

Location varies.

Please contact our course facilitator Becka Houlding by emailing or call 07399559666 or get in touch with Creative Minds.

What happens next?

If you cannot get through to Becka then please leave a message and she will return your call.  Sessions run once a week but Becka will go through your availability depending on the current session attendance rates. Becka will give you full details of where to meet, times and more information.

You should wear sturdy shoes, outdoor clothing and have suitable wet weather clothing. You should also bring along your lunch.
