Please note: During the coronavirus pandemic, Luv2meetU is offering virtual social events using Skype, Facebook and group calls. Events are based on people’s interests and feedback received. Examples of events include quizzes, virtual coffee mornings, games nights, music sharing events, playing games such as Pictionary, online PC games, competitions, craft and film clubs.
What’s it about?
Luv2meetU is a friendship and dating agency for people with a learning disability or autism aged 18 and over. They support people to make friends, share interests and develop relationships. Group members are able to develop their social networks, skills, confidence, health and wellbeing by accessing a diverse range of leisure opportunities in their local community and beyond. Activities will be planned by the group and may include creative sessions, meals out, animal trips, gentle walks, museums, bowling, swimming and more.
Who’s it for?
Adults with a learning disability and autism who are socially isolated in Kirklees.
