A message from Qudos Creates:
Qudos Creates continues to support people who directly engage in our projects. In line with government guidance, our projects are being delivered remotely. During this challenging time we will be providing:
- Weekly one to one personal wellbeing phone calls
- Weekly group creative activity and social meet-up facilitated Skype sessions
- Responsive email and text contact and communication.
What’s it about?
This music project aims to offer all the benefits that music brings to people experiencing problems with mental health. Working on a facilitation model, the project aims to build upon the musical interests and desires of the participants using songs, song writing, learning an instrument and playing, singing and creating within a group setting. Particular emphasis will be placed upon community interaction, identity and self-esteem building and the maintenance of mood using music, both within and outside of the sessions.
