A “Spectrum of angels” is an inclusive FREE activity for everyone!
A craft-based project focusing on up-cycling household waste to create ‘angels’. These can be made
to help ‘keep someone safe’ who you can’t be with now or for someone who has sadly passed away, or to show our support for key workers.
The angels can be displayed in a window or outside so others can enjoy them and spread community spirit. By doing so keep people connected and increase their self-esteem.
Send in your angels to be display them at Appletree Garden in Agbrigg or drop them in at Appletree Garden personally (when safe to do so) All organisations and individuals who have taken part will be invited to an afternoon tea and to have a walk round the garden to see the display.
This project is open to anyone and will be shared via social media. Examples of people who may want to take part include; people in assisted living homes, care homes, those using community hubs during the pandemic, schools, Recovery College clients etc.
