The Curtain Up Players—amateur dramatics group/performances

What’s it about?

This project continues the Curtain Up Players, a company for the over 50’s, drama work around dementia by building an Asian group of actors to take awareness of issues about dementia through drama into the Asian community. The Curtain Up Players will continue to perform their existing plays about dementia as well as developing plays in new areas such as the visually impaired.

Who’s it for?

Aspiring actors, care homes, community groups, organisations with an interest in the issues of ageing, dementia, mental health and more.

When?

Performances throughout 2018 in various locations in Kirklees.

Where?

Rehearsals (new actors welcome) take place on Thursdays at Brian Jackson House, New North Parade, Huddersfield, HD1 5JP.
