MPs on the Health and Social Care Committee have launched an online survey into how body image impacts people’s physical and mental health and the experiences of accessing NHS services. Questions asked in the anonymous survey reference:
- How perceptions of body image can impact mental and physical health.
- Your experiences of trying to access health services for issues relating to body image in the past.
- Whether you think the current public health messaging on obesity, and its health impacts, is appropriate.
The survey is part of the Health and Social Care Committee’s inquiry into the impact of body image on mental and physical health. Your responses will inform the conclusions and the recommendations the Committee makes to the Government on this subject.
The survey will take around 10 minutes to complete.
