Wakefield focus group to understand the Covid-19 pandemic and Covid-19 vaccine within Pakistani Communities

This consultation is CLOSED

Close date: 27th September 2022

Overview

Healthwatch Wakefield are hosting a focus group with people from the Pakistani communities to gain an understanding of experiences of the COVID-19 pandemic and vaccination programme.

Throughout the Covid-19 pandemic, people from the Pakistani communities were disproportionately impacted when compared to people of White British ethnicity. This is why we have partnered with NHS England to put on a focus group to explore the Covid-19 pandemic, in particular the vaccine and booster programme with members of the Pakistani community.

Through NHS England, we are able to offer a £20 gift voucher for people who share their thoughts at either a focus group or individually to a member of the team. Travel costs will also be reimbursed to attend a focus group.

We will be hosting two focus groups, one for men and one for women. If you prefer you can speak to one of our members of staff individually to share your thoughts. If you cannot attend in person, you can share your thoughts over the phone.

When: Tuesday 27 September 2022

  • 1:30pm till 2:15pm for women
  • 2:30 pm till 3:15pm for men

Where: Healthwatch Wakefield, 15 Margaret St, Wakefield WF1 2DQ.
