EyUp! Yorkshire Charity Challenge 2020
Walk for the Veterans as they walked for us
What is it?
Get active in Yorkshire to raise money to support our veterans with their health and wellbeing. Walk, run or ride as far as you can to help us achieve our collective target of 450 miles – the boundary of Yorkshire! Whether you complete a mile, or all 450 miles, it all makes a difference.
If you would like to take part individually or as a smaller group and feel 450 miles is a little too ambitious why not complete a lap of the following areas instead?
A lap of Kirklees is 71 miles
A lap of Calderdale is 63 miles
A lap of Barnsley is 70 miles
A lap of Wakefield is 64 miles
The Challenge takes place between 18 September 2020 – 31 October 2020
It’s £10 per person to enter the challenge, but we really hope you will be able to raise additional sponsorship too. Please visit our Just Giving page at: www.justgiving.com/EyUp
Total funds raised will be announced on Remembrance Sunday
All funds raised will go towards the setting up of a veteran’s support network. This network will allow us to work with local veterans to identify the support they need and ensure this is made sustainable in our local communities.
Upon sign up, you will be sent an email with further information including how to collect sponsorship, joining our closed challenge Facebook group and a log sheet.
All participants will receive and certificate and medal upon completion.
We hope you can join us in raising much-needed funds for the local Veteran Support Network.
Please note: EyUp! is not liable for anyone taking part in this event. All participants taking part in the challenge do so at their own risk.
Entries are now closed for this challenge. Thank you to all participants.
