Our carers’ network

Our Trust has a carers’ network that is open to anyone who provides care to someone using our services – whether you are an unpaid carer, a member of staff with caring responsibilities, a carer lead, or part of a carer organisation in our communities.

The carers’ network is a space where your voice genuinely shapes how we work. You can choose how and when you get involved. Some carers like to join our meetings every three months on Microsoft Teams; others prefer to stay connected through our wider distribution list and take part only when they have the time or energy. Both are absolutely welcome.

As a member of the carers’ network, you can:

  • Attend quarterly online meetings to hear updates and share your experiences
  • Join project groups when it suits you – from reviewing policies to shaping service developments, big or small
  • Take part in workshops, co production sessions and improvement conversations
  • Access therapeutic funds to support activities for carers who look after someone under our services
  • Stay informed about opportunities, support, and developments across the Trust

Everything is optional. You decide what works for you, and your involvement can be as light touch or as active as you choose.

If you’d like to find out more or join the carers’ network, please contact Gillian Cowell, carers lead.
