Our NHS Trust recognises that some of the recent changes to the welfare system can be challenging for the wellbeing of the people we serve.
If you, or someone you care for is under our care and struggling with issues regarding benefits, housing or money worries, please make sure you keep our worker or the GP informed.
If the changes to welfare reform are affecting your health and wellbeing please tell your care coordinator, inform the Trust service that you see or contact our Single Point of Access services. You may also want to inform your GP.
Single Point of Access (SPA)
Take a look at the government guidance on what to do if you have a complaint about your benefits, DWP processes and any of the contractors. Our best advice is to keep a log of all correspondence including phone calls and who you have communicated with.
