Creative Partners A - Z

Our Trust aims to support voluntary and community organisations to deliver, in partnership, a variety of creative projects to the people who use our services and their carers.

The aim of this work is to ensure there is a strong infrastructure of community organisations able to work with the us to provide excellent creative projects for the people who access our services.

To do this we have set up two distinct initiatives: Creative Minds Projects and Creative Minds Partners.

shared harmonies CIC

Provides singing activities for a wide variety of peoples seeking wellbeing benefits including for people with dementia, lung health conditions, mental health. Work across West Yorkshire. Creative Minds has had projects with Shared Harmonies in Kirklees as well as Calderdale.

Shaw Lane Men’s Shed

For men over 50.

Looking to meet new people, learn new skills, or just enjoy a cuppa and a chat? At Shaw Lane Men’s Shed, men over 50 can make friends, share stories and work on woodworking projects in a relaxed & welcoming environment. No membership, just £2.50 per day – includes tea & biscuits. All skill levels welcome. Mon – Thurs 9am – 3pm

The Art House

The Art House provides time, space and support for artists and associates to develop their critical practice and professional careers. Everyone is welcome to experience contemporary visual art and learn about the practice of being an artist through a year-round programme of exhibitions and events. Alongside an accessible programme of training, mentoring, residencies and commissions, The Art House develops collaborative platforms promoting equality and diversity, driving new research and contributing to an essential discussion around the creative case for diversity in contemporary visual art.

The Lipstick project

Weekly Holistic Coffee Mornings offering a safe, welcoming space for women to connect relax and feel supported. Sessions include creative activities, gentle movement, guided relaxation and open conversation, promoting wellbeing, confidence and belonging in a familiar community setting.
