Since SWYPFT NHS service moved into the Folly Hall Mills site in 2010 we have had 2 installations of
public art. Creative Minds is now seeking to revamp and provide new artwork and poetry for the building
in 2026. Firstly we shall be seeking new funding to provide prints and frames and a celebratory event.
Once that’s secured we shall be asking for groups and individuals to supply appropriate artwork and
poetry to exhibited within the building. Folly Hall Mills has many rooms and possible display areas and is a
grade 2 listed building. The current displays were very well received in a visitor survey and we look forward
to refreshing and adding to the display. Art can really help to enhance the environment and feel of the
building and provide exhibition space which is often in short supply.
Who is it for? People who use or have used mental health or learning disability services who want to
display their art or writing, groups or partner organisations in the local community who want to display
their work. Visitors and staff who like art.
When? We are looking to start the project in 2026. It is likely to take several months to
complete
