What’s it about?
Want to play cricket? Need a bit of coaching to improve your skills or just fancy trying something different for a change?
The Get into indoor cricket project involves weekly cricket training sessions with ECB Level 3 qualified coach Chris Schofield, and is run in partnership with Yorkshire Cricket Board.
The cricket is of a friendly nature, for people 18+ and is open to both males and females.
Creative Minds cricket club has its own 11 a-side team and a 6 a-side team who play in a number of competitions throughout the year.
Our first six sessions are free and after that, it’s £3 per session.

The project is suitable for our service users and/or their carers.
When?
Every Monday (except Christmas), 1:30-2:30pm.

The Sports Hall, IMWS Al-Hikmah Centre, 28 Track Road, Batley, WF17 7AA

This project is suitable for both self-referral from our service users and carers and referrals from health care professionals are accepted too.
What happens next?
Once a person has made contact with us we’ll contact them via email or phone and tell them when and where to go. We aim to respond to you within ten days from initial contact but it’s usually much quicker than that.
Participants will need to bring appropriate footwear (the sessions are played in a sports hall) and a soft drink or water – other equipment will be provided as necessary.
