Hoyland Community Choir

What is it about?

During the coronavirus pandemic, Hoyland Community Choir (HCC) are now providing informal, weekly online singing activities, to replace usual face-to-face meetings . No previous experience or musical skill level is needed.

People wishing to participate in the live sessions need to be able to use ‘Zoom’ on a smart phone, laptop or tablet.

The sessions can also be listened to afterwards as they are streamed on HCC’s  Youtube channel.  Some people prefer to sing along to the YouTube channel, where there are also a range of individual song recordings to choose from and a words song book to use.

Who’s it for?

Adults principally living within the Barnsley area are the intended participants. When meeting in person, Hoyland Community Choir principally serves Barnsley residents, however, during these unprecedented times, any adult who wishes to self-refer/access online activities and who does not contravene our policies of inclusion, mutual support and appropriate interaction, is welcome to participate.

When?

Weekly online activity on Friday mornings: 10am till 12pm.

Also available ‘on demand’ via the Choir’s dedicated YouTube channel.
