What’s it about?
We are developing two social interactive groups across the district. Many frail older adults who have recently benefitted from health and social care services, or have had a serious life-changing event, often find themselves, lacking in confidence, poor self-esteem, or with limited mobility leaving them socially isolated and unable to engage in community activities. This project offers transport assisted weekly supported social group sessions within local community spaces.
