The Calderdale talk will be held at the canteen area on the 5th floor of Dean Clough, Halifax, on Tuesday 10 June from 7:00pm – 8:00pm. Attendees are encouraged to arrive at least half an hour before the start of the talk for refreshments and registration.

The session will include a talk by Consultant Psychiatrist and Specialist in Learning Disabilities, Dr Bennett Eng, followed by time for questions and queries. The talk is free and open to everyone.

Dr Eng said: “The talks will be a really good opportunity to find out more about learning disabilities and I would encourage anyone to come along. I’m really looking forward to presenting the talk and I will be happy to answer any questions people may have about the subject.”

The talks follow on from a series of successful talks in 2013 offering an insight into substance misuse and common mental health conditions.
