Policy and strategy

We are fully committed to supporting and valuing diverse lives both as a service provider and as an employer, and we aim to ensure that services are designed and managed, as far as possible, to respect and value difference.

All public sector organisations are required to produce schemes and action plans, which outline the ways in which staff are recruited and services are provided, in relation to race, disability and gender equality. We are then required to assess all of our policies and functions to ensure that they do not have an adverse effect on people from diverse groups.
