Junior doctors’ strikes

The British Medical Association has informed NHS organisations across the country that junior doctors intend to take part in industrial action on the following dates:

• 12 January 2016 (24 hours)

Junior doctors will provide emergency care only from 8am on Tuesday 12 January until 8am on Wednesday 13 January

• 26 January 2016 (48 hours)

Junior doctors will provide emergency care only from 8am on Tuesday 26 January until 8am on Thursday 28 January

• 10 February 2016

Full withdrawal of junior doctor labour from 8am until 5pm on Wednesday 10 February.

The first two strikes will see very minimal disruption to our services, and we are currently developing plans to minimise the impact of the full withdrawal of labour should it go ahead on 10 February.
