Mental health rehabilitation and recovery services engagement in Kirklees

Date:

We would like anyone who uses services now or has done in the past, carers, families and friends, if you work in services or have an interest in improving local services in Kirklees to take part in this engagement and share your views.

NHS Greater Huddersfield and North Kirklees CCGs will work with Kirklees Local Authority to gather views on:

•The type of rehabilitation and recovery services, including supported accommodation people would like to see (this would include looking at the current service based at Enfield Down)

•What good community services for mental health could look like, including help to keep people well and the type of support that needs to be in place

The aim is to work collaboratively to develop future services using the views of local people.

In Kirklees we currently have a rehabilitation service at Enfield Down and people in the community are also supported by community mental health teams. Many of the people supported this way will also have used specialist hospital inpatient facilities.

We want local people to help make sure that the services we commission are right for all of our population, not just for those who currently use our services..

Show your support by downloading and printing this engagement questionnaire, complete it, and post back using freepost (address is on the back of the survey). You can also fill in an online version. You have until Tuesday 23 October.

Let’s gather as many views as we can.
