The team were nominated for their innovative care that meets the needs of their diverse local communities. This includes a parent/carer course for families living with ARFID (avoidant/restrictive food intake disorder), and home-based treatment with nasogastric tube support.
Their strong partnership working with West Yorkshire Integrated Care Board and Mid Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust also earnt them the shortlisting.
The team has received positive feedback from young people and their parents and carers, and they plan to use what they have learnt to further develop the service.
