As part of Volunteers’ Week 2026, our volunteering service will be at Barnsley Civic on Wednesday 3 June to help you find out more about volunteering opportunities in the borough.
They’ll be joining a wide range of local charities, community groups, and voluntary organisations who will be on hand to:
- Share information about current volunteer opportunities
- Offer insight into the work they do across Barnsley
- Provide one-to-one advice on how to get started with volunteering
You can drop in any time between 10:30am – 2:30pm. The event, organised by Barnsley CVS, is open to anyone interested in getting involved in volunteering.
Whether you’re new to volunteering or looking to try something different, come along to connect with local organisations, explore current opportunities, and see how your time and skills could make a real difference in our community.
